On Tuesday 9th June, Year 2
attended a very exciting excursion.
At 9:00am we set off in the heat to our
first stop which did not seem very far at all. As you can see it was our
gorgeous new statue of Our Lady Help of Christians.
We then continued on to Rizal Park and looked at the five-metre tall statue of Filipino national hero, Dr Jose Rizal. This is a very important statue to the passionate and committed Filipino community in Campbelltown.
As you can see we still had to do work on our excursion.
Our second destination was Churchfield Estate where we looked at houses that are currently in various stages of being built.

Year 2 had a great time and were very tired from all the walking. We would like to thank all the parents that kindly gave up their time and joined us on our excursion!
